About me
Lucy Berman (they/them) is in their first year at RRC as a mekhinah student. They come to rabbinical studies by way of community organizing and advocacy in Providence, Rhode Island. They graduated from Brown University in 2019 with a degree in religious studies and approach their work from an interfaith perspective, having grown up in a Catholic and Jewish home. Lucy currently works as the rabbinic intern at Never Again Action, which seeks to mobilize Jews against the detention and deportation of immigrants. When not studying or working, they can be found hanging out with friends and/or their giant cat, Endora.
