About me
Jesse Weil (he/him) is an artist and educator currently studying at the Reconstructionist Rabbinical college. After graduating from Brown University, Jesse found opportunities to develop his work as a writer and performer on stages all over the country. He has been able to bring that passion to a wide range of schools, shuls, and nonprofit organizations- facilitating storytelling programs for students of different ages and backgrounds. Jesse was drawn to rabbinical school by the opportunity to deepen his commitments to curiosity, compassion, and community. He hopes that he can support others in fostering meaningful connections to and through Jewish tradition in ways that feel authentic and alive. In this effort, Jesse marries playfulness and a healthy irreverence with a deep respect for people and an eagerness to learn from them. This year, he is serving Mishkan Ha’Am, a Reconstructionist congregation just outside of New York City.
