About me
Rachmiel (he/him) is in his fifth of seven years at RRC. He has taken a non-traditional path to the rabbinate and is glad for it. Before coming to RRC, Rachmiel studied furniture making at California College of the Arts. His favorite materials for making are found objects and the aleph-bet. Rachmiel completed a unit of hospital chaplaincy at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, and attempts to bring compassionate presence to all his encounters. If Rachmiel eats a piece of fruit with seeds inside, he will try to turn that fruit into a tree. This has had medium success.
